Residents are invited to provide feedback to the Jefferson County multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee on reducing hazard impacts. The survey is intended to gather public feedback on concerns about wildfires, floods, winter storms and other hazards and strategies to reduce their impacts.

The Jefferson County Hazard Mitigation Plan was developed in 2010 and is updated every 5 years. The draft will be available for public review and comment in March 2016. A public meeting to discuss the plan update is tentatively scheduled for March 23rd in Wheat Ridge with more details forthcoming.
